Job Description

The Senior Business Unit Financial Analyst is an important member of the management reporting planning and analysis team within Chief Operating Office (COO) Finance. This partner will be a key player supporting the financial needs of the COO business.

Knowledge and Skills

• Analytical and problem solving skills required to evaluate financial results and projections.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary to present relevant information to senior management and business unit officers.
• Strong personal computer skills (Excel Word and PowerPoint) are required to perform analyses and communicate financial information.
• Knowledge of accounting reporting and financial analysis usually acquired through an advanced degree program or related work experience is required.

Major Duties

1. Participate in the monthly/quarterly/annual reporting process preparing analyses of results relative to prior year prior month and/or Plan focusing on key business factors driving financial performance.

2. Participate in the analysis for and production of monthly/quarterly/annual presentation of results to the Board of Directors.

3. Participate in the annual Planning process.

4. Participate in quarterly analysis of assets under management and assets under custody.

5. Participate in the monthly/quarterly forecast process.

6. Conduct and lead special projects and ad hoc requests to support the Corporate Controller and group manager.

Experience

• 58 years of related experience with emphasis on project analysis and management reporting planning and analysis.
• Experience using Cognos Analytics and Power BI is a plus.

Salary Range:

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
