Description
Hire Resolves client a reputable civil construction company specializing in infrastructure development projects is currently seeking two experienced Construction Managers / Site Agents to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion ensuring adherence to project timelines budgets and quality standards.
Coordinate and supervise onsite construction activities including pipelines earthworks roads and concrete works.
Implement and enforce compliance with construction methods as per SANS 1200/GCC standards.
Utilize project management software (e.g. MS Project) to plan monitor and report on project progress.
Lead and mentor site staff fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Liaise effectively with clients subcontractors and stakeholders maintaining clear communication and strong relationships.
Ensure all health safety and environmental regulations are strictly followed onsite.
Requirements:
BEng BSc BTech or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management on civil projects.
ECSA or SACPCMP registration is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management software particularly MS Project.
Strong knowledge of construction methods specifically SANS 1200/GCC standards.
Proven experience managing civil construction projects including pipelines earthworks roads and concrete works.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with fluency in English and Afrikaans.
Valid drivers license.
