Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic educator looking for a new role Education World is currently working on behalf of a number of Special educational needs settings in Sunderland (temp to perm opportunities available) to recruit passionate teachers who are eager to help bridge the gap for students with a range of additional needs in the local authority.
THE ROLE:
- FullTime and Parttime positions available.
- Provide small group work and intervention support.
- Offering 1:1 support for pupils with special needs and lower ability levels.
- Supporting students with Autism ADHD Dyslexia Specific Learning Difficulties EBD and SEMH needs.
- Supporting students with challenging behaviour.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be comfortable working with children who have MLD ASC and Behavioural issues.
- Advantageous if the candidate has experience with sensorybased learning.
- Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to apply immediately).
