Job Description
Interlink is hiring a Senior Staff Accountant as a hybrid role at our HQ in Mason OH. Reporting to the VP of Finance you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting functions within the organization ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.There is high potential for this role to grow into an Accounting Manager with one direct report in the near to midterm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable:
- Pay vendor bills and expenses by ACH
- Fill out credit inquiries
- Track referral fees and pay out
Accounts Receivable:
- Manage ACH clients via Pinnacle monthly
- Oversee AR collections 60 management
Financial Reporting:
- Clean up the P&L monthly
- Produce quarterly product profit numbers
- Run reports for KPIs and endofmonth numbers (MSP margin product sales CSP margin)
- Reconcile company bank account and credit cards in QuickBooks
- Create and manage GL accounts subaccounts and unearned revenue accounts
- Balance prepaid funds account
- Record depreciated items monthly
- Create journal entries
- Track YTD Revenue/Margin
Billing/Invoicing:
- Manage monthly billing of managed services projects and T&M out of CW
- Handle all invoicing of product orders CSP invoices and Azure charges in QB
- Enter all invoices into QuickBooks (through Mobius automation)
- Reconcile fixed fee amounts vs billed
Tax and Licenses:
- Run report monthly for sales tax to pay file online make payment record in QBO across multiple states
- Produce 1099 at the end of the year
- File CAT taxes
Expenses and Commissions:
- Review approve and run ACH for all employee expenses
- Manually run all sales account managers commissions and calculate and margins
- 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Experience in a small team wearing a variety of hats with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities for multiple tasks/workstreams
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization both in writing and inperson/over video call
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
