Job Description

Software Requirements:

  • Microsoft Project (MPP knowledge is a must)
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software
  • Understanding of internationally accepted Project Management Principles Methodologies (Waterfall Hybrid Agile)
  • PMI Certification or equivalent is an advantage

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Manage one or more business projects and ensure successful delivery
  • Align various teams across IT business operations and vendors to ensure timely delivery with high quality
  • Create and execute project work plans monitor deliverables and revise plans to meet changing needs or requirements
  • Manage daytoday operational aspects of projects and resolve challenges to enable timely delivery
  • Review deliverables prepared by the team
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure project documents are complete current and stored appropriately
  • Provide reports on the status of projects including challenges risks and mitigation plans

Technical Skills:

Project Management:

  • Handson experience in managing various phases of the project lifecycle Initiation Planning Monitoring & Control Closure
  • Experience in Scope Time and Budget management
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall Hybrid Agile)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project (MPP)

Banking and Enterprise Applications:

  • Significant experience in banking projects payments compliance and enterprise applications
  • Ability to engage with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders at various levels including business heads functional heads and senior managers

Experience:

  • 10 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5 years in the banking sector/payments enterprise applications
  • Proven track record of delivering highquality deliverables that meet or exceed timeline and budgetary targets
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously (at least 3 projects)

DaytoDay Activities:

  • Create and execute detailed project work plans
  • Monitor project deliverables closely and revise plans as needed
  • Manage daytoday operational aspects of projects and resolve any challenges
  • Review team deliverables for quality and completeness
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure project documentation is complete and stored appropriately
  • Provide regular status reports on project challenges risks and mitigation plans
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • PMI Certification or equivalent is an advantage
  • Significant experience in banking projects payments compliance and enterprise applications

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problemsolving and negotiation skills
  • Selfmotivator and selfstarter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact and present ideas to senior and executive management
  • Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations and increase productivity and effectiveness
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Adaptability to changing requirements and technologies
  • Analytical thinking and decisionmaking abilities
