A partner hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Regional Support Veterinarian to join their team in the Southwest Florida region. Key Responsibilities:
As a Regional Support Veterinarian you will:
- Provide full clinical duties including diagnosing treating and managing a wide range of medical conditions in small animals.
- Travel to various hospitals within the Southwest Florida region offering handson support to a variety of teams and patients.
- Mentor and collaborate with veterinary teams promoting a culture of growth continuous learning and excellence in patient care.
- Adapt treatment plans and communication to the unique needs of each hospitals team and clientele.
- Foster a positive environment for both staff and clients ensuring topnotch care and client satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Possess a valid veterinary license in good standing or be able to obtain one in the state of Florida.
- Demonstrate a compassionate adaptable and empathetic approach to both patient care and team collaboration.
- Have leadership or mentorship experience or the desire to develop these skills in a support role.
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to connect with diverse teams and clients.
- Be highly organized resilient and adaptable with strong time management skills to thrive in a traveling multihospital role.
