Responsibilities
  • Answer dealership group phones greet and receive prospects and customers
  • Serve visitors by warmly greeting welcoming and directing them appropriately
  • Notify company personnel of visitor arrival
  • Maintain security and telecommunications system
  • Inform visitors by answering or referring inquiries
  • Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories
  • Operate telecommunication system by following manufacturers instructions for house phone and console operation
  • Follow established guidelines of telephone etiquette
  • Learn to Listen and always project a sincere attitude
  • Maintain the reception area and showroom in a neat and safe way
  • Keep refreshments well stocked
  • Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries
  • Contribute to team effort by assisting team members as necessary
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years receptionist experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of office administrative experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Ability to speak clearly on the telephone and convey professionalism sincerity and competence to callers
  • Ability to convey messages to employees clearly and quickly
  • Ability to determine when people should and should not be interrupted (i.e. when a salesperson is with a customer)
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record
  • Ability to pass preemployment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
