SolidCAD is looking for an Account Manager / Executive AECO to join our Sales Team. The primary function of this position is new account acquisitions however there is a substantial book of business that you will actively manage as well. This includes coldcalling prospecting qualifying conducting product demonstrations solution selling negotiation and closing. Youll grow revenue with an emphasis on new and renewal of product sales to both new and existing customers. You will also learn and be taught to apply an understanding of architectural and engineering software products.
Establish develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the AEC (Architecture Engineering and Construction) industry to generate new business for SolidCAD.
Timely followup and qualification of new prospects from either inbound leads or customer requests generated by marketing
Manage and maintain accurate leads opportunities and account information
Develop and execute prospecting plans for territory development to establish rapport build relationships and create opportunities
Coordinate sales efforts with the Sales Manager.
Document and track activities and contacts utilizing Salesforce and regularly update sales forecasts.
Participate in marketing events and trade shows.
The ability to quickly develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of software products and remain an expert on current product knowledge both from an internal and a user perspective.
Willingness and ability to master training and presentation skills.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Listens effectively communicates information accurately.
Prioritizes and plans work activities uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans
A resultsdriven and a consistent track record of exceeding quota
Experience using a consultative solutionbased sales methodology is desired
