Job Description

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage site vendor quality management program. Includes communicating to vendors investigating and verifying nonconformances managing NonConformance through Agile inspecting incoming material track material on hold in JDE and has authority to disposition materials. Site representative for vendor quality scorecards and vendor reviews. Conduct vendor quality onsite audits.
  • Manage raw material receipts. Manage inventory in JDE. Ensure that all COAs/COCs are received reviewed and retained. Manage yearly COA verifications working with QA Lab Supervisor and external laboratories.
  • Manage RV first runs. Communicate requested sample to QA Techs inspect first run samples ship first run samples and ensure the correct lot code/stencil is entered into Colos.
  • Manage production floor finished goods quality. Provide directions on nonconforming material ensure material is in correct inventory status update nonconforming databases/spreadsheets develop and provide rework instructions statistical analysis and inspection of completed rework participate in NC investigations ensure CAPA is effective. Provide training for production Associates. Identifies areas for improvement and puts into place action plans.
  • Manages the COLOS database. Inputs stencils for new items or transfer items from other sites.
  • Russellville site representative for Materials Working Group and sister plant/vendor quality meetings.

  • Associates have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility is part of each associates essential accountabilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. )The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years of QA or cosmetic manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in a quality role within a GMP environment.
  • Experience working with computerized systems/programs such as JD Edwards Excel Docushare PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and training skills.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively by email by phone and in person
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to maintain GMP records related to the RVL quality system and production documentation.
  • Ability to teach or train others on various QS requirements and modern quality system tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to gather organize analyze/trend data and make determinations based on data trends.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Experience working in a Cosmetic manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Frequent sitting carrying and lifting 010 pounds repetitive hand movement reading writing reasoning/analyzing and social interaction.
  • Occasionally carrying and lifting 1030 pounds standing/walking bending/twisting pushing/pulling reaching above shoulder and calculating.
