About DAG:
Requirements
Bachelors degree in liberal arts such as Fine Arts or Art History
58 years experience in an art gallery or related sales role
Must have a strong understanding of Indian modern art
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with clients
Fluency in English essential other languages an advantage
Be flexible with working hours if/when required
Creative individual with drive and the ability to take initiative
Values of adaptability and sincerity are critical
Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Good writing skills and an understanding of how to approach diverse stakeholders simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and good observation skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Ability to produce clear coherent creative briefs and project reports
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
A proactive approach to problemsolving with strong decisionmaking skills
Engaged and interested in continually learning about artists and the art world and being able to use that in conversation with artists clients patrons and key stakeholders.
