Assistant Program Director and Psychiatrist Adult Outpatient Hartford CT
The Institute of Living (IOL) at Hartford Hospital is part of Hartford HealthCares Behavioral Health Network (HHC BHN)the largest and most comprehensive behavioral health system in New England. We have a new opportunity available for aBE / BCPsychiatrist to join our cohesive multidisciplinaryteam atthe IOL at Hartford Hospital a 938bed tertiary teaching hospital located inHartford CT.
Some highlights of this opportunity include:
Educational leadership role responsible for supporting ambulatory psychiatric and psychotherapy training in a wellestablished general psychiatry residency program.
A mix of patient care direct resident supervision and didactic teaching working alongside a mature and collegial faculty peer group.
Established and reputable academic department with several endowed research centers and training programs in psychiatry child/adolescent psychiatry consultation psychiatry addiction medicine psychology and nursing.

Eligibility for academic appointment through our affiliation with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
