Key Responsibilities:
Conceptual Design/Design Development:
Collaborate coordinate and assist Senior Interior Designers and Project Architects with project tasks.
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements preferences and budgetary constraints.
Develop design concepts mood boards 3D models/ renderings for presentation materials to communicate design proposals effectively.
Create space plans furniture layouts and interior architectural details.
Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for design development.
Material Selection and Specification:
Research and recommend suitable materials finishes furnishings and fixtures for each project.
Prepare material boards samples and documentation to present design selections to clients.
Coordinate with suppliers vendors and manufacturers to source and procure materials.
Construction Documentation:
Prepare detailed construction drawings including floor plans reflected ceiling plans interior elevations showing millwork and power/data floor and wall finish drawings sections and details.
Provide specifications and schedules for interior finishes fixtures and equipment. Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in the construction documents.
Review and approve shop drawings samples and mockups for compliance with design intent and specifications.
Client Relations:
Cultivate strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing exceptional design solutions.
Conduct client presentations and meetings to present design concepts progress updates and final design deliverables.
Respond promptly to client inquiries concerns and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide postproject support and assistance as needed.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
