The Maintenance Technician (second shift) is responsible for properly performing all maintenance and mechanical repairs within the facility including but not limited to mechanical electrical welding and building & grounds maintenance.
Must be available to work second shift hours. This position is open to entrylevel candidates.
Position Responsibilities:
- Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance.
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on all equipment.
- Perform building and grounds maintenance repairs.
- Perform welding repairs.
- Repair hydraulics pneumatics mechanical basic plumbing and electrical.
- Troubleshoots all electrical malfunctions and ensures the facility systems are operating properly according to performance specifications.
- Repairs all inoperable electrical equipment and circuits.
- Report any irregularities or damage to the supervisor.
- Maintains an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility and must complete all paperwork as required by the Company.
- Complies with companyprovided literature training and all existing Federal State Local and Company requirements rules and regulations that pertain to personal safety in the performance of duties.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 12 years of relevant work experience in transportation chemicals supply chain manufacturing or logistics preferred
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Candidates with a valid drivers license highly preferred
- Must be able to read and understand English for the purposes of interpreting MSDS documents.
- Experience in pressure washing hydroblasting and/or working with chemicals highly preferred
