Provides clinical medical oncology professional services to patients.

As a WellSpan oncologist youll benefit from our commitment to reinvesting in our providers and communities. Were seeking a boardeligible/certified Medical Oncologist to join our team in Gettysburg Pennsylvania.
What you can expect at your practice:
- Primarily outpatient role supported by a toptier team of hospitalists and critical care physicians; no direct patient admissions required.
- WellSpan Health leads regional valuebased care with six cancer centers spanning five counties.
- Work alongside a cooperative team of radiation oncologists breast surgeons thoracic surgeons and surgical oncologists.

- Engage in tumor boards research projects clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
- Certification of Added Competency in HematologyOncology. Upon Hire Required and
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
- Fellowship in HematologyOncology. Upon Hire Required and
- Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of Gettysburg Hospital. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Teaching skills.
