Job Description
Hyrbid Schedule: 3 days in office 2 from home
Responsibilities:
- Manage direct shipmentlevel communication with carriers vendors and customers addressing delays inquiries and discrepancies
- Act as a senior product expert in communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure client requests align with established services and oversee accurate invoicing
- Address file profitability audit and identify lowmargin files and implement corrective actions with the team
- Monitor and ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry for quality processing
- Actively seek feedback from team members and customers to identify opportunities for improvement in service levels productivity profitability and quality
- Provide objective feedback on vendor performance escalate issues promptly and ensure optimal service levels
- 5 years of experience with Ocean Import operations within a freight forwarding company
- 2 years of Supervisory experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to train coach motivate and develop/mentor direct reports
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree preferred
- Must currently reside in California and be willing and able to commute 3 days in office to the Carson/Torrance/Long Beach area
