The hourly rate for this role is 12.60 and up to 13.85 across selected locations. About the opportunity
As a Boots Health Clinic Specialist you will conduct a variety of different pharmacy services within your instore clinic. From managing your appointment diary greeting your patients and delivering the service you will use your ability to connect with patients to provide exceptional patient centred care. You will spend your time building great relationships with your patients listening to their concerns and managing every consultation with compassion. You will use your knowledge and training to confidently take every opportunity to provide holistic care and solutions which are right for the individual.You will have the opportunity every day to make a real difference to patients and with a wide range of responsibilities and services available no two days will be the same.
Key responsibilities:
Day to day management of the appointment diary to ensure that clinics are set up as required to deliver the necessary services safely and professionally.
Ensure every individual arriving for a prebooked appointment is greeted booked into the system and all preconsultation paperwork is completed
Communicate with the store leadership team Pharmacist and pharmacy team to ensure safe and appropriate provision of the service
Order and maintain adequate stock of consumables and materials required to deliver the service
Ensure the consultation space always meets the required consultation room standards
What youll need to have
Desire to learn and be comfortable completing a Healthcare Training Programme at NVQ2 or equivalent
Experience working to targets
Empathetic approachable and able to interact sensitively with customers
It would be great if you also have
Healthcare training Programme at NVQ2 or equivalent however this is not essential and full training will be provided
Experience working within Health or Social care
