This role is a fulltime position within our Universal Pictures International Germany team based in Frankfurt.
Responsibilities:
- As part of the Sales Team in our Frankfurt office you will be responsible for a defined group of exhibitors. You will handle the rental of our films and enter all bookings and schedules into our internal system.
- You will be in regular contact with numerous independent exhibitors and maintain strong customer relationships including onsite visits.
- You will conduct weekly negotiations with your customers regarding the continued screening of our films and document the results.
- You will prepare shipping lists for film copies and promotional materials and regularly check their return.
- You will collect daily admission and sales figures and enter them into our internal booking system. Additionally you will create and maintain specific revenue statistics.
- You will plan and book films for special screenings such as previews or openair events.
- You will coordinate the use of promotional materials in cinemas (posters flyers displays banners etc..
- You will support the accounting team by tracking invoices and payments.
- You will participate in industryrelated trade events.
Qualifications :
- You have a strong passion for film and cinema along with basic knowledge of current movies.
- You have relevant professional experience in film distribution ideally in the cinema or media industry.
- You are a team player with a confident demeanour an independent and reliable work style and the ability to stay organized even in stressful situations.
- You enjoy working with people.
- You have strong negotiation skills and can handle conflict situations professionally.
- You communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- You are business fluent in German and have very good English skills.
- You have excellent MS Office skills and a general understanding of booking systems and other IT programs with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- A friendly attitude and strong teamwork skills complete your profile.
