Job Description
Rate: $18/hour Contract with the City of Florissant.
Swim Lesson Classes
Preschool and youth swim option
Potentially more classes like adult swim could be added.
Dates: 6/3/20247/31/2024
Hours: Every Monday/Wednesday at Koch Park at 10:1011:25
Job Duties:
Instructs swimming lessons in accordance with City of Florissant guidelines.
Follow lesson plans and create new material as needed.
Develops and maintains a positive relationship with all participants including parents children and staff.
Follows provided schedule.
Maintains records as required (attendance etc..
Follows all City of Florissant policies and rules and ensures all participants are following safety guidelines as well.
Organizes and puts away equipment.

Must be willing to go through a background check. .
Must be at least 16 years old
Must be able to demonstrate swimming skills
Enjoys teaching and working with children ages 3 12 years
Ability to lift 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods of time
Ability to work in the water for the duration of the lessons.
