Are you looking for an amazing opportunity in the Retail Industry where you can learn and grow
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record all cash receipts and payments in the cashbook
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements
- Process and allocate funds for various expenses and invoices
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in cash transactions
- Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes
- Follow company procedures and maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Adhere to relevant laws regulations and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cashbook Clerk or similar role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in using accounting software and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accounting or related field diploma or degree
- Previously worked in retail environment
