A dynamic opportunity is available with a prominent client in the FMCG sector for a qualified and experienced Financial Manager to drive financial operations produce IFRScompliant reports and implement robust controls. Located in Cape Town Southern Suburbs this role requires techsavviness strong analytical skills and leadership abilities to enhance governance streamline processes and lead crossfunctional teams. The ideal individual will be CA(SA) qualified or hold a BCom degree in Finance be selfmotivated deadlinedriven and thrive in a fastpaced environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the operations of the accounting department
- Provide leadership and mentoring to all staff in the finance department
- Manage and ensure all production processes and procedures are followed
- Assist in the management of various financial accounting functions
- Review and submit monthly management accounts
- Prepare quarterly board packs
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predicting future trends
- Facilitate the halfyear and yearend audit process (June and December)
- Manage governance and compliance including improving internal controls
- Oversee performance management of finance staff including setting of KPIs
- Manage finance related systems and internal controls
- Assist with management of Net working capital and forex exposure
- Manage and complete provisional and income tax computation
- Assist with ad hoc projects
Requirements:
- CA(SA) qualified or
- BCom in Financial Accounting
- Minimum of 510 years relevant experience within a similar role
- Experience within the FMCG environment (advantageous)
- Knowledge and experience with Accounting and Enterprise Systems Taxation legislation
- High level of Computer literacy with MS Office MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong management skills
