DescriptionReporting to the Global Onboarding Manager the Global Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a smooth preemployment experience while maintaining compliance with internal and external requirements. This role involves managing core preemployment data in HR information systems (e.g. Oracle Cloud) preparing documentation maintaining employee records and handling administrative tasks related to onboarding. The Global Onboarding Coordinator will collaborate closely with regional Global Onboarding Partners to uphold the bestinclass onboarding experience that UL Solutions is known for.
Responsibilities- Oversee the background screening process to ensure adherence to internal and external regulations following up on any discrepancies or concerns. Serve as the primary point of contact with thirdparty vendors to ensure timely and accurate updates on candidate status.
- Collect and review information required to adjudicate background check cases for final grading.
- Complete work validation requirements escalating any issues or noncompliance concerns as needed.
- Process and maintain accurate new hire records in our HCM system (Oracle Cloud) ensuring data integrity and completeness.
- Maintain applicanttoemployment records conducting audits and making corrections to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
- Manage onboarding forms ensuring all required documents are completed accurately and filed appropriately.
- Respond promptly to onboarding inquiries directing escalations to appropriate resources and following up as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to enhance candidate experience and improve scheduling efficiency.
- Assist regional Global Onboarding Partners with additional tasks as needed to support the GO! team.
- Adhere to the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and all physical and digital security practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- University education (equivalent to a Bachelors Degree) in Human Resources Psychology Business Communications or a related field preferred.
- 02 years of experience in a human resources role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion.
- Capability to work independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Proficiency in using multiple systems while engaging with customers/employees via phone chat email and other channels.
