Job Description
Calibration Technicianat Palen Kimball Calibration
Shift:Monday Friday8am4:30pm (Some Saturdays dependent on client/job site)
Salary:$3040 hourly
Location:Twin Cities Minneapolis (some travel maybe required)
Requirements:
- Youmustbe 18 years old.
- Youmustbe able to pass a drug test.
- Youmustbe able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
- For safety reasons youmustbe able to speak English.
- A preemployment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
- Able to lift up to 30lbs.
- 5 years of experience in calibration
- PMEL/Military experience desirable
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical Physical and Mechanical Calibration of equipment such as Oscilloscopes Multimeters Hipot Testers Temperature and Humidity Controllers Pressure Gauges and Dimensional Equipment
- Experience with Indysoft Preferred
Job Duties:
As you might expect technical work and customer service is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part you can expect to:
- Review of customer requirements
- Service and repair
- Prepare and visually inspect calibration and inspection items
- Perform calibration and inspection
- Maintain vehicles
- Recording of data
- Assist in training of new employees
- Fill out work orders
- Complete calibration certificates
