As an UI Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the user experience of our AIdriven legal solutions. Our B2B solutions is helping especially professionals who work in law research and legal advising. You will work closely with our design engineering and product teams to develop and optimize intuitive responsive and scalable UI components bringing innovation and efficiency to the forefront of our product offerings.

You will join our Tech Team of around 10 people including: 3 Frontend Engineers led by Aurlien as well as 1 UI Designer 4 AI Engineers as well as Backend and DevOps Engineers.

Your responsibilities
- Develop UI Components: Using React TypeScript hooks and responsive design
- Performance Optimization: Implement code splitting lazy loading and caching techniques
- Design Implementation: Pixelperfect from Figma designs with Tailwind and animations
- Backend Integration: Connect APIs using RESTful services integrating WASM solutions for encrypted communication
- Testing & Debugging:Write tests usingVitestensuring clean functional code
- EndtoEnd Responsibility: From design handover to backend integration ensuring APIs fetch the right data
- Tech Stack Optimization: Streamline tooling optimizing the codebase for better scalability & clean code best practices

About you
- Working Permission:Germany
- Language:English (fluent)
- Full development lifecycle: Worked across the full development lifecycle from design to backend connection with ReactTypeScript Hooks and Context APIHTML5 CSS3 Web Components
- Backend integration experience:Node.js API design authentication mechanisms (JWT OAuth &Keycloak)
- Delivery:Delivered results inevolvingfastpaced startup environments
- Technical Debt:Optimized technical debt and implemented best coding practices in previous roles
- Optional: Familiarity with tools such as Webpack Docker Git and CI/CD pipelines

The AI startup Xayn develops Noxtua Europes first sovereign Legal AI. Noxtua helps lawyers analyze and draft legal documents and research legal questions while being legally competent and compliant. Hosted in the EU Noxtua meets high standards of confidentiality in handling client data professional secrecy (e.g. Section 203 German Criminal Code Section 43e German Federal Code for Lawyers) and European data protection. Noxtua is powered by specialized proprietary AI models.
