Hiring for Team Leader Design forSmall Rotating machines with Precision machined components Industry
Job Position
Team Lead Design
Experience
About 8 years of professional experience in the field of Small Rotating machines with Precision machined components or similar
Knowledge of material specifications drawing creation by software tools GD&T.
Development of subassemblies by Reverse Engineering.
Proven ability to lead and develop people
Salary Band
44.5 LAC Variable based on experience & knowledge
Role and Responsibility
Review and develop components subassemblies and complete motor assemblies based on PEPL standards and customer specifications
Complete Mechanical Design of individual components of Brushless DC servomotors AC servomotors and associated gearboxes either from basic design principles or by way of reverse engineering
Interface the Mechanical design with Electrical Design Team and bought out accessories.
Review of Drawings datasheets or specifications regarding content for easy and costeffective manufacturing and conformity to customer specifications and design codes.
Preparation of Development Plan / Schedule balance the workload within the team follow up with Production and subsuppliers/component manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of Prototypes
Proactive communication with Marketing Heads / Profit Centre Heads for interfacing with End customer for Testing and Approval of Prototype.
To guide and train a team of engineers to prepare manufacturing drawings of precision components for motors and gearboxes.
Ensure strict compliance with company policies
Desired Skills
Certificate in AutoCAD and Solid Edge
Familiarity with ERP system
Project Management Exposure
Technical skill :
Well conversant with AutoCAD and Solid Edge for Drafting and Modelling or other 3D design systems
Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes
Other skill
Good command over the English Language for written & oral communication.
Independent Fast and Precise working manner
Computer literacy (MS Word Excel PowerPoint etc.
Team Player with Leadership Qualities.
