Manpower is recruiting for a Barrel Lathe Machine operator.

Machining Barrel Lathe Key Responsibilities: Set up and Operate Barrel Lathes: Set up barrel lathe machines ensuring proper tooling fixtures and settings are in place. Operate machines to perform turning boring and threading on barrels and other cylindrical components. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality. Quality Control and Inspection: Measure and inspect parts using calipers micrometers and other precision measuring instruments. Ensure parts meet specified tolerances surface finishes and customer requirements. Perform routine checks and document measurements to maintain quality standards. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance on barrel lathes including cleaning lubrication and tool changes. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and work with maintenance staff to resolve machine malfunctions or failures. Identify and report any machine or tool wear and make recommendations for repairs or replacements. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Operate machines in accordance with company safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
