Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage public engagement efforts ensuring transparent communication regarding project status and impacts.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including governmental agencies community groups and the public.
- Assist in the preparation of documents and presentations for public meetings and hearings.
- Advise on technical documentation related to civil engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations and standards.
- Support project management in developing strategies for effective public relations and community engagement.
- Monitor and address public feedback and concerns while maintaining positive relationships.
- Collaborate with project teams to align engineering objectives with public relations goals.
- Maintain documentation and records for public engagement activities.
Requirements
- Must be Pr Eng / Pr Tech
- Must have experience in AutoCAD 3D
- Must be an SA Citizen
- Must be willing to relocate to Secunda (traveling up and down is not an option)
- Minimum 8 years experience
- Design experience in roads water sewer and stormwater
- Geometric / Pavement Design would be great
- Experience with work on Provincial / National Roads
- EE would be an advantage but not a requirement
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry (Brownfields) will be an advantage
