Outreach Analyst Energy Efficiency (FieldBased)

Location: Baltimore MD (FieldBased with some Remote Work)

ICF is seeking a fieldbased Account Manager to take a significant role in the implementation of commercial energy efficiency programs in Baltimore Maryland. The selected candidate will be responsible for recruiting participants from LowtoModerateIncome (LMI) and/or Environmental Justice (EJ) communities into our utility incentive programs. The candidate will develop and implement engagement strategies with the goal of increasing the number of energy efficiency projects and participants within identified communities. This position is open to Marylandbased candidates as well as those willing to relocate.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with businesses in LowtoModerateIncome (LMI) and/or Environmental Justice (EJ) communities to support their participation in BGEs energy efficiency programs
  • Cultivating new relationships and partnerships with trade allies and professional organizations who support the LMI/EJ communities to promote program awareness and adoption
  • Identifying barriers to participation and developing successful communityrelevant resolutions
  • Preparing and presenting targeted presentations promoting program awareness coupled with participation at trade shows trade organization and stakeholder events as well as any industry recognized associations
  • Collaborating with LMI/EJ communities on the preparation and delivery of energyrelated community events that promote energy education program awareness and community buyin
  • Maintaining strong ongoing communications with participants and other interested stakeholders to assess their needs and receive feedback on their experience with the program
  • Assisting program managers with the development and implementation of promotional strategies
  • Preparing clientfacing ongoing status reports to document performance and activities demonstrating progress towards program goals contractor/consultant participation and pipeline management
  • Supporting internal operations and management of the programs with tasks such as reporting application review forecasting marketing development and client support
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are between 25 to 75 of the time. (reimbursement for mileage provided)

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelors degree in (Business Admin Energy Communication or related field) (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)
  • 1 years of experience in community engagement with a preferred focus on working with individuals and groups from underserved or underresourced communities
  • Proven fluency in English and either Spanish or Chinese (reading writing and speaking)
  • Must have valid drivers license an operational vehicle for transportation (or regular access to a vehicle) and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check

What we would like you to have:

  • 1 years of experience managing or selling energy efficiency opportunities with specific experience in one of the following: HVAC contractors distributors commercial real estate federal government or retail customers.
  • Utility experience
  • Bilingual
  • Capacity to build and sustain community partnerships
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate and implement community events and initiatives
  • Strong commitment to social and environmental justice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of selfconfidence determination and motivated to excel
  • Ability to adapt prioritize multiple timesensitive needs and multitask and work under strict deadlines
  • Sound business ethics including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal employees as well as with outside clients and vendors
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy and a collaborative attitude
  • Understanding of principles related to coalitionbuilding community development and/or communityfocused program development
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Dynamics Word Outlook Excel)
  • An energy efficiency background with a solid knowledge of building mechanical systems and/or commercial lighting
  • Economic analysis and familiarity with DSM program planning and evaluation

Pay Range There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on fulltime employment is:

$55388.00 $94160.00
