What Youll Do
- Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all times
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department
- Move materials and items from receiving and/or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
- Perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling pushing reaching bending over climbing and kneeling
- Assist in performing inventory on material
- Assist in unloading and loading customers
- Inspect outgoing material for accuracy
- Read customer orders work orders shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved gathered distributed and/or shipped
- Sort and place materials and items on racks shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size type style color or product code
- Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
What Youll Need
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to multitask and manage time required
- Ability to communicate with customers employees and business leaders
- Must practice safe working habits and follow OSHA EPA and company safety policies rules and regulations
- Ability to be flexible a team player and interact professionally with employees as well as external contacts
- Able to work overtime as business requires
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
