Job Description
CSS is working with a respected Healthcare System in need of a Certified Coder 1 that will be responsible for accurately interpreting patient records to assign ICD9 and/or ICD10 diagnostic and CPT procedural codes patient records. This position is in Abilene Texas.
Requirements:
High School or equivalent
1 Year of related work experience
Certification required
Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Thorough knowledge of ICD9 ICD10 CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines
Knowledge of current thirdparty billing and collection regulatory guidelines
