Job Description
An industryleading client of ours is currently looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter/Operator to join their team.
Job Description for operators/setters would be (but not limited to) the following
- Set up and operated injection moulding machines (machines ranging from 50ton up to 350 tons) in accordance with good manufacturing practice and standard operating procedure
- Preform Injection mould changes according to production schedule (safely install moulds and remove them from injection moulding machines)
- Install necessary waterlines Ejector bars hydraulic lines
- Make sure parts meet the visual and dimensional criteria before the production run starts
- Perform relief duties fill in for other positions as required
- Report any unsafe conditions follow safety and production floor rules
- Perform maintenance duties as needed
- 25 years of previous injection moulding process experience is required
- Proficient skills in reading writing
- Strong mechanical abilities & knowledge preferably in the plastic industry
- Problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Computer skills
- Strong communication skills interacting with all levels
