About the Role
Being involved in some of Australias largest rail projects we are going through an exciting period of growth and as such we are looking to bolster our team and looking for experienced Project Engineer/coordinator to join our Brisbane team as we undertake an increasing number of signalling projects across Australia.
This role will be located in Brisbane.
Applicants must demonstrate proven experience with the engineering and coordination of rail signalling design projects for our tier one engineering clients.
To be considered for this opportunity you must possess the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Railway signalling projects in a passenger rail or heavy haul environment
- Demonstrated understanding & experience of signalling design
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Demonstrated highly developed oral communication and consulting skills with the ability to communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Current formal rail design competency certificates or ability to attain formal approvals for Australian rail operators (ARTC MTM CRN QR or more generally recognised IRSE) with complete logbooks to demonstrate competency.
You will be highly regarded if you can demonstrate:
- Experience with in the coordination of rail signalling projects
- Awareness of and experience in ATP ETCS CBTC rail environments.
- A recognised relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
