CMHA is looking to hire a Clinician I for ourIMPACT program. This position will be located at 233 Main St. New Britain CT 06051. (MonFri 8:30am4:30pm)
Compensation Range:$57000 minimum to $76000 maximum.
Starting salary will be determined based on relevant years of experience.
Clinician I is eligible for a $5000k signon
Signon will be paid in 2installments after 6 months of employment and 1 year of employment.
Quarterly incentives for the first year $1500. Paid in quarterly installments of $375.00 for the first year.
Position Summary:The Clinician I will provide direct clinical services to individuals in the community; including but not limited to evaluation/assessment; home & communitybased services; outreach; case and care management; individual and crisis intervention. Collaborates with team members in coordination with other agencies and community service providers.
Essential Responsibilities and Target Outcomes:
- Provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to clients via satellite sites and CMHAs 233 Main Street clinic.
- Reduce OUD and the number of opioid overdoserelated deaths among homeless/atrisk individuals through treatment and prevention education.
- Reduce the likelihood of chronic disease and premature death among individuals with OUD who are homeless/at risk by connecting them to integrated primary care.
- Provide integrated behavioral health and primary care services to at least 25 program participants annually via imbedded Community Health Center (CHC) at CMHAs Open Access Center.
- Develop achievable goals with client with measurable and behavioral objectives within designated timeframes. Monitor treatment progress and provides updates within identified timeframes and as necessary.
- Collaborates with other providers by providing all pertinent clinical information in a timely manner.
- Provides referrals and linkage to community and internal resources as necessary to address client need.
- Completes documentation within designated timeframes as established by CMHA and external regulatory agencies.
- Must be willing to travel and integrate in communitybased settings.
- Must have flexible schedule be willing to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid DMV License and personal vehicle.
- Masters degree in behavioral health (psychology social work counseling marriage and family therapy alcohol and drug counseling).
- Clinician I must have an active temporary CT license as a LMSW LMFT LPCA Ph.D. or LADC as appropriate for services; Clinician I must be license eligible.
- Certified in BMT First Aid and CPR.
- Beginner to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese.
- Experience in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
