Position: Program Manager

Hours of Employment: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM MondayThursday or 9:30 AM 6:00 PM MondayThursday

7:30 AM 4:00 PM Fridays (nonschool days)

(Occasional weekday evenings and weekends will be required)

Work Location: InPerson

Salary Range: $50000 $60000 based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview: NCCP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager who will complement the leadership team. They will be responsible for the supervision of 45 employees at a designated school site. They will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating educational programs that enhance the learning outcomes of students. They will collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders that share our mission.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively lead and manage team of program staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards of team and program operations
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure that programs run efficiently and effectively
  • Collect and maintain accurate program documentation including data and reports
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance and effectiveness to meet target metrics
  • Proactively identify and resolve and/or escalate team or program issues
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including community members school personnel volunteers partners etc.
  • Ensure safety security and stated expectations of participants employees and volunteers are always maintained
  • Support all inschool after hours and extended day community school activities as needed
  • Lead and participate in professional development trainings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • College courses in Education Program Management or related field of study
  • Proven experience in program management
  • Strong understanding of educational best practices standards and operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools to assess program effectiveness
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage challenges effectively
  • High level of organization and attention to detail ability to multitask

Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Education Program Management or a related field
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills
  • Experience designing and evaluating programs
  • Experience using TRAX
  • Experience as direct supervisor of 2 or more people
  • Experience in Excel and Microsoft Office

  • Work in collaboration with the broader organization to facilitate school community and volunteer programs and events (NOTE: Must be able to remain in a stationary or mobile position as the shift demands and move equipment/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Actively participate in all trainings and workshops
