The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of the organization by providing detailed financial analysis strategic planning support and datadriven insights to improve decisionmaking. This role will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the financial health of the nonprofit while adhering to industry standards regulations and best practices. The Senior Financial Analyst will also support budgeting forecasting financial reporting and grant financial management.
Analytical. Proficient in interpreting financial data identifying trends ensuring accuracy resolving discrepancies evaluating risks and opportunities and providing actionable insights and solutions to drive business decisions and improve financial performance.
Communicative. Skilled in communicating complex financial data to nonfinancial stakeholders presenting insights to senior leadership and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to address financial needs and support decisionmaking.
Ethical. Committed to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality when handling financial data ensuring compliance with laws and safeguarding sensitive information.
Inquisitive. Adaptable and proactive in embracing changing business needs financial technologies and reporting requirements with a continuous learning mindset to stay current on financial regulations tools and industry best practices.
Mission Vision & Values Alignment.Demonstrates an understanding of and a commitment to SPLCs mission vision and values.
Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Provide variance analysis and interpret financial data to provide insights on organizational performance.
Analyze and prepare financials for grant proposals ensuring funding aligns with the Centers strategic goals. Track and manage expenses for each awarded grant.
Support the annual budgeting process and provide periodic reforecasts for department heads and senior leadership.
Assist in monitoring budgettoactual performance and recommend adjustments as necessary to meet financial goals.
Work crossfunctionally with program managers development teams and other departments to support financial goals and objectives.
Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement by streamlining standardizing and automating processes and reporting requirements to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Monitor budgettoactual performance and recommend adjustments as necessary to meet financial goals.
Perform occasional maintenance of WorkDay planning system (adaptive planning) to enable accurate budgeting/forecasting and related reporting.
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.

This is an exempt role and the minimum starting salary is $97697 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
