Location: Edinburgh

Computershare are currently looking to recruit a Head of Quality Engineering to collaborateclosely with software development and IT teamswithin Computershare Technology Services.

A role you will love
As ourHead of Quality Engineering you will work within a highly skilled team in an Agile environment.You will be responsible for developing and executing our quality strategy in support of our product development.
Some key responsibilities:
- Manage the activities of the team to ensure consistent rapid delivery of quality solutions.
- Coach and mentor team members in support of continuous improvement and career development.
- Build a high performing QE team.
- Implement consistent tooling and methodology within the team.
- Keep up to date with industry trends conduct research and apply new techniques to the delivery of software.
What will you bring to the role
You will play a pivotal role in growing our culture of engineering excellence thus making sure our organizations digital operations are secure and efficient. You will also be responsible for implementing a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Proven ability to influence and motivate (global geographically dispersed) teams to achieve desired outcomes.
- Previous experience in an IT leadership role.
- Experience in technology delivery for one or more complex products in an Agile environment.
- Proven ability to be highly collaborative and work effectively in a global environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders.
