LOOKING FOR AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY ! We are seeking a creative forwardthinking and organized Events Outreach and Communications Specialist to join our growing team. As a member of the EPPS team this position will allow you to have a variety of opportunities to utilize your creativity in your daytoday work. In this position you will interact with targeted virtual communities and network users to promote our school and University through social media and digital marketing. You will combine your knowledge of the social media and digital marketing with your business acumen to bring greater brand awareness increase lead generation and increase customer engagement. In addition you will lead the planning organizing and facilitating events both large and small that are both hosted and sponsored by EPPS .
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead all major event efforts for the School of EPPS Create and implement marketing strategies and project plans for each event Organize meetings and coordinate staff who will assist in event preparation & production Create and implement a checklist of duties assigned for event committee Create detailed drawings of layouts of rooms for each event Adhere to procurement policies and procedures and brand standards that are mandated by the University Build and execute social media strategy through research benchmarking messaging audience identification and SOPs Write develop and strategize online content production and scheduling Coordinate with Communications about EPPS with crisis management bad reviews and negative news communications Generate edit publish and share content daily Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialog and messaging Create and maintain EPPS social media pages and profiles Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic demographics and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes Collaborate with other departments to manage EPPS reputation coordinate promotions and increase outreach Monitor the digital channels (including updates design and user experience) Create daytoday messaging/posts Provide customer service by answering questions and concerns when necessary Conduct and report analysis of site and social traffic Create maintain and implement digital marketing and editorial calendars Maintain effective cohesive and engaging brand messaging Other duties as assigned
