Title: GA PreProfessional Student Engagement & Success CAST CONNECTIONS Fall 25/Spring 26

Graduate Assistants in CAST Connections support and execute the programs services and outreach efforts of CAST Connections. These programs include:
a. CASTing Change a service learning program for students to engage in a social impact
b. Personal development sessions monthly group meetings for students
c. Assisting with academic concerns. This includes followup with students assisting and following up with reports to the academic advisors and documentation/tracking of efforts
d. Supporting marketing efforts by highlighting events students and programs via university calendar Redbirdlife and other internal communications outlets
This position may also complete benchmarking research on programs and supports offered elsewhere. Graduate Assistants may also assist in the preparation of the CAST Connections assessment plan. In executing the duties of this position the Graduate Assistant supports the goals and objectives of CAST.
$1510 for 0.5 FTE appointment

You must be eligible for employment in the United States and at Illinois State University and/or for the number of hours required for the position.
Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of oncampus employment for all positions held. International students are restricted by their visa status to no more than 20 hours per week of oncampus employment when the university is in session but may work up to 28 hours per week when the university is not in session.
