Job Description
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer Structures (Water) to join our clients team working on SANRAL projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant infrastructure projects helping to ensure the successful completion of waterrelated structures.
As an Assistant Resident Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing construction activities ensuring compliance with project specifications and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver highquality infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising construction activities related to water structures
- Ensure adherence to quality standards specifications and safety regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and ensure timely reporting on project status
- Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to address any constructionrelated issues
- Review and verify construction drawings material submittals and other documentation
- Assist in measuring and certifying completed work
- Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation
- Participate in project meetings and provide inputs for decisionmaking
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Must be Professionally Registered
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering specifically in water projects
- Experience working on SANRAL projects is a must
- Strong knowledge of construction methods principles and materials related to water structures
- Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Salary: R600 000 p/a
