Job Description
About Scientia Vascular:
Our mission is to save lives. Scientia Vascular is aleading innovator and manufacturer of endovascular medical devices. We usemicromachining and microfabrication processes to manufacture products thatprovide physicians with enhanced performance for optimal outcomes for theirpatients.
Parttime position 1520 hours per week
Position Summary:
Contributes to the development of medical devices. Main responsibilities include developing tests fixture design product prototyping documentation and product performance testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct product performance bench testing
- Build or assemble prototype materials components subassemblies and assemblies
- Modify product designs to evaluate ideas.
- Construct operate troubleshoot adjust maintain and test equipment systems or products
- Develop tests for characterizing product
- Perform testing and analyze data and write reports
- Review or develop processing or manufacturing instructions
- Maintain detailed documentation through all phases of development testing and analysis
- Record data following good documentation practices
- Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision
- Perform job functions in accordance with applicable GMP and ISO guidelines
- Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards
- Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Enrolled in a college level engineering program.
- Computer skills including understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
