Job Description
Are you a high school student with a passion for creativity design and digital media Grand Forks Public Schools is seeking a motivated and innovative GFPS/CTE Student Intern to support our Career & Technical Education (CTE) Department in areas such as marketing brand identity graphic design video production social media and website work.
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to build your portfolio and gain real-world experience in a professional and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design graphics and visual content for flyers posters presentations and digital platforms
- Assist in creating and editing videos to highlight CTE programs and student success stories
- Support district branding efforts through consistent and creative visual storytelling
- Help manage and schedule social media content across platforms (Facebook Instagram etc.)
- Contribute to website updates including layout images and program information
- Collaborate with staff to promote events initiatives and CTE-related activities
- Capture photos and video footage at school and community events (as needed)
Who Were Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in a Grand Forks high school
- Interest in digital media graphic design marketing or communications
- Familiarity with tools like Canva Adobe Creative Suite iMovie or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Creative thinker with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Willingness to learn collaborate and contribute to a team
