Overview
We are Hiring at UofL Hospitals 5 South Surgical Oncology unit
Location: 530 South Jackson Street Louisville KY 40202
Shift Options: Weekends FullTime 7a7p
About Us
5 South is a 16bed complex surgical oncology unit caring for complex pre and postoperative surgical oncology and plastics patients. This unit has all private rooms.

UofL Hospital offers a secondtonone cancer center worldrenowned trauma team and a uniquely streamlined nationally accredited stroke centerthe latest innovations in a history of worldclass care. Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

- PCU
- Surgical Oncology
- Early Diagnosis Oncology
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active Kentucky registered nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- One 1 year of patient care experience in specialty area
- All newhire Associate degree registered nurses (new graduate and experienced) are required to start an approved BSN program within one 1 year of hire and complete an approved BSN program within three 3)years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
