Job Description

As a youth advocate you will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering young individuals as they navigate their way through various challenges providing guidance resources and mentorship to ensure they reach their full potential by creating a safe and inclusive environment where young people can thrive and flourish.
Status: PartTime Hourly FLSA Classification: NonExempt
Summary of the Position: Hourly Part Time position serving youth and families throughout Erie County are available.
- Applicant must be dependable committed and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community school and home settings.
- The Primary responsibilitiesof the Advocate are to initiate organize plan develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned clients and their families.
- All service plans will be based on a strengthbased approach using the wrap around model.
This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.
Hourly Pay Rate $ 15.00
Qualifications/Requirements: A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with youth and children
Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current automobile insurance coverage.
BiLingual/Spanish is preferred but not required
