Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates all activities related to procurement beginning with intent to purchase through delivery.
• Responsible for supplier metrics approvals and risk assessments for assigned group of suppliers.
• Analyzes the requirements including preliminary specifications preferred supplier and date commodity is needed.
• Issues RFQs and POs and/or IDWAs in accordance with company and government regulations.
• Implements purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulations.
• Assures material is delivered on schedule at the negotiated price meets the quality standards of the
  company and aligns with inventory level expectations.
• Assist in the coordination of supply chain activities including procurement inventory management and logistics.
• Support the procurement team in sourcing suppliers obtaining quotes and negotiating contracts.
• Assist in analyzing inventory levels and demand forecasts to optimize inventory management.
• Help maintain accurate records of inventory levels shipments and supplier information.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
• Support the implementation of supply chain initiatives and projects.
• Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing reports for management review.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions to gain exposure to various aspects of supply chain management.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• This position requires either a US Person or a nonUS Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of supply chain concepts and principles is preferred but not required.
• Previous internship or work experience in supply chain management or manufacturing is a plus.

Expected Compensation: The expected compensation for this role is $20.00 hourly. Please note this is the expected compensation however Ultra Maritime considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office such as: responsibilities and scope of role candidates work experience and education related to position applicable certifications or trainings business and market conditions.
