Who were looking for

Toyotas Environmental and Facilities (E&F) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Engineer.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead development of environmental action plans and strategies to drive initiatives and activities for achieving Toyotas Environmental Challenge 2050.

Reporting to the Environmental & Facilities 2050 & Performance Manager the person in this role will support Toyota Motor North Americas (TMNA) objective to achieving Toyotas Environmental Challenge 2050.

What youll be doing

  • Lead an aspect of Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050 action planning development and funding tracking.

  • Support NA region Mfg & NonMfg operations environmental target setting

  • Support NA region Mfg & NonMfg environmental target achievement action planning

  • Plan and request funding / resources to complete action plan implementation

  • Prepare environmental performance reports & propose variance countermeasure plans

  • Participate in NA region Sustainability Focus Groups & quarterly regional meetings

What you bring

  • Bachelor of Science or higher (Engineering: Chemical Environmental Mechanical Electrical)

  • 2 years of experience in project planning & implementation

  • 2 years of experience leading projects or equivalent functional leadership experience

  • 2 years of experience working collaboratively across company and multiple functions

  • Experience in executive report preparation & presentation

  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint TEAMS and Outlook)

  • Ability to work up to 20 overtime when required

  • Ability to travel up to 10 when required

Added bonus if you have

  • Professional Engineering (PE) License

  • Masters degree in engineering

  • 2 years of experience in industrial systems (HVAC chilled water compressed air)

  • Intermediate Level Experience in Microsoft PowerBI

  • Spanish language skill Good verbal and communication skills

  • Fundamental skills of problemsolving and desire to improve/kaizen
