General Summary:
- Responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for clients of various programs
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- Work requires the ability to read write and speak English well enough to communicate effectively with patients and staff to locate destinations and follow transportation schedules and the ability to keep daily transportation records acquired through a high school education. 2 years of relevant driving work experience may be accepted in lieu of a high school diploma.
- Work requires a current valid Maryland State issued CDL Drivers license as well as a driving record with 3 or fewer points on it at the time of hire.
- Work requires the ability or experience of working with disabled population.
- Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to establish therapeutic relationships with mentally ill residents and to communicate and work effectively with residents in accordance with rehabilitation plans.
