GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Concrete Finishers to join a team in Salem OR. If youre a craftsman with a strong knowledge of cement construction and enjoy working on challenging projects this is a fantastic opportunity with competitive pay and consistent hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct forms and bracings based on elevation points and design configurations

• Install steel or wire reinforcing and expansion joints to ensure stability and durability

• Weld steel floor frames cap beams and other structural components

• Supervise concrete placement and pouring processes

• Smooth and finish poured concrete surfaces using hand or power tools including floats trowels and screeds

• Mix cement using a hoe or concretemixing machine as needed

• Break up and repair old concrete surfaces with pneumatic tools

• Drill holes in masonry slabs or walls for installation or repair purposes

Qualifications:

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately

• Strong knowledge of methods materials tools and techniques in cement construction

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans sketches elevations and field layouts

• Handson experience with masonry tools and techniques

Schedule:

• MondayFriday 6am2:30pm
