Key Responsibilities:- Design electrical systems meeting engineering standards applicable codes client specifications and within cost constraints
- Develop electrical and controls construction specifications and drawings
- Reads control diagrams and schematics
- Evaluate and select equipment and components for electrical and controls systems
- Conducts appropriate costbenefit analyses for assigned projects
- Adhere to project deadlines and budgets communicating any variances to theProject Manager
- Verify that installations and applications are in conformance with construction documents and safety standards
- Assist with thecreation of proposals to gain new projects
- Actively participate in industry events to bolster organization recognition
- Obtain/ maintain certifications necessary for the role
Position Qualifications:- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and 45 years of Electrical Engineering experience
- Proven ability to design safe and efficient electric power and controls systems
- Fundamental knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA70
- Solid analytical skills including knowledge of engineering economic analysis
- Professional Engineering license or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with AutoCAD a plus
