Job Description
Job Summary
As part of the eCommerce Web team the Quality Assurance Analyst role will be responsible for testing the features implemented by the development team. This role initiates tests analyzes results troubleshoots systems and collaborates with teams to find solutions to technical problems. This role is also expected to be a thought leader with regard to advancing Vail Resorts quality assurance capability maturity.
Responsibilities:
- Design and document test plans for projects
- Define and execute test cases for web applications based on software requirements and technical specifications
- Record and document results and compare to expected results
- Analyze testing from the clients perspective; empathy for client use
- Improve the maturity of the regression scripting and process
- Works with an open and collaborative style
- Participate in application planning meetings
- Work in an Agile development teamrequired
Minimum Qualifications
- 3years of quality assurance experience
- Experience developing and creating test cases test plans and test scripts
- Experience with functional regression adhoc and Agile testing and extensive software testing
- The ability to create and maintain test plans and test results
- Experience withWeb testing
- Experience withEcommerce
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Selfstarter and active learner
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Experience with various testing tools including automation tools is a plus
