The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
Greet and seat guests presents menus and inform guest of special menu items.
Treats guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.
Takes names on a waiting list and accurately quotes wait times.
Runs the floor plan board.
Observes tables and keeps track of clean dirty and occupied tables.
Answers phone calls and questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
Cleans organizes and stocks menus at host area.
Interacts with guests coming in and as they leave ensure a positive dining experience.
Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management servers team members and guests)
Must be able to read write and determine wait time based on companys procedures.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
A willingness to work mornings evenings weekends and holidays as required.
California Food Handlers card is required for all food service employees who prepare store and serve food.
