Payments Product Manager USD Domestic Payments

Location : Dallas

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

The USD Domestic Payments Product Manager is pivotal in providing the direction and end to end management of our payment products and services with a special focus on USD domestic payment methods and rails. The incumbent owns responsibility for development of new products continual product improvement and enhancement management of product risks and contribution to overall product strategy and commercialization. The role requires a good understanding of the different payment options available to corporate and institutional businesses within the United States spanning across wellestablished methods such as wires ACH and checks to more recent developments in realtime payments. The ability to understand client challenges/opportunities and industry trends will be key to providing inputs into the payments strategic product roadmap and commercialization strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving the payments product strategy forward through partnership with key stakeholders including Engineering in delivering solutions that utilize the latest technology to provide value to clients. The role has endtoend oversight over the product and the delivery of industryleading solutions alongside a robust risk management framework.
  • Operating as a subject matter expert for one or more USD domestic payment mechanisms. Demonstrating an indepth understanding of commercial application and usage of payment products within the corporate B2B and B2C space among others.
  • Commercialization of transaction banking services by packaging products into solutions that provide value to clients and the creation and delivery of product materials and marketing strategies.
  • Moderate travel may be required for the role.

Ideal candidate has:

  • Experience in product management or product sales or operations in transaction banking or cash/treasury management.
  • Basic payment rail knowledge particularly in USD wire ACH and checks with broader familiarity in crossborder and global payments.
  • Basic understanding of risks and controls entailed in end to end payment and the delivery of payment services.
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with high level business goals and strategy.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact and partner with stakeholders within and across crossfunctional teams to deliver best in class solutions.
  • Logical and analytical skills to understand and articulate customer needs and turn requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Excellent organizational time management and planning skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or military experience
  • 35 years of experience in a payments / settlement / treasury management / operations role
  • Skills with MSOffice (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Product Management Computer Science Engineering or related fields
  • At least 3 years of experience working in transaction banking product management
  • Experience in Agile and waterfall SDLC with exposure or understanding of full stack development End to End testing and post launch validations. Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
